Privacy Policy

Beta notice. DotraAI is in early testing. This is an interim policy that reflects how the product works today; a fuller version will accompany our public launch. We'll post the updated date here whenever it changes.

In short: We use your photos and videos only to generate the suggestions and reviews you ask for. Your media is downscaled on your device, analyzed by our AI provider, and never sold, never used for facial recognition, and never used to train AI models. You can delete your account and data anytime.

Who we are

DotraAI ("we", "us") is an AI creative assistant for Instagram creators, operated from India. For any privacy question or request, contact us at mandotaarav22@gmail.com.

What we collect

Account details: your name and email. Your password is stored only as a salted, hashed value — we never see it.
Photos & videos you upload: used to pick your best shots, order carousels, write captions, and review Reels/Stories.
Project history: small thumbnails of your uploads, generated captions, and review scores/feedback, so you can revisit your work.
Usage & account info: counts of features used, your plan, and your referral code.
Cookies & analytics: a session cookie to keep you logged in, and privacy-friendly product analytics (pageviews and events) to understand and improve usage.

How your photos and videos are handled

When you upload media, it is downscaled and de-duplicated on your own device first. Only a compact version is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude API) to produce your results. For videos, we analyze a key frame.

We do not use your media for facial recognition or biometric identification, we do not train AI models on it, and we do not post anything to your social accounts.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small set of trusted processors to run DotraAI:

Anthropic — AI processing of your prompts and media.
Vercel — application hosting.
Neon — encrypted database for your account and projects.
PostHog — product analytics.

As we add features, we may introduce further processors (for example, an optional read-only Instagram connection, or a payment processor for the Pro plan). Payment card/UPI details are handled entirely by the payment processor and are never stored by us. We'll update this list here.

What we never do

We never sell your personal data.
We never use your content to train AI models.
We never use facial recognition or biometric identification.
We never post to your accounts without an action you take.

How long we keep data & how to delete it

We keep your account and project data while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing mandotaarav22@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data". We will action deletion promptly.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under India's DPDP Act 2023 and the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us at mandotaarav22@gmail.com.

Data transfers & security

Some of our providers process data on servers outside India (for example, in the United States). We use providers that offer strong security and encryption in transit and at rest, and we limit access to your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

DotraAI is not intended for anyone under 13 (or the minimum digital- consent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
